South Korea's top airline Korean Air on Monday launched a new flight route linking the western city of Incheon with Kathmandu, the company said.
Flights depart for Nepal's capital city from Incheon International Airport, about 40 kilometers west of Seoul, on Mondays, the airline said.
"The new route is expected to meet a growing demand for air travel, given an increase in the number of South Koreans visiting Nepal for mountain climbing and sightseeing," a company official said.
Korean Air is the flagship of Hanjin Group, a family-controlled transportation conglomerate.
