CJ Korea Express, which entered the Indian market in April by purchasing a 50% share of the Indian logistics and transport company Darcl Logistics Ltd., aims to expand its business activities in the country. Speaking at the 1st India-Korea Business Partnership Forum that was held at the Leela Palace Hotel in New Delhi on Dec. 1, CJ Darcl CEO Puneet Argawal declared that the company would double its sales to 700 billion won ($644 million) by 2021. Founded in 1986, CJ Darcl provides freight services for industrial and consumer goods through international land and sea transport networks. The company employees about 3,400 individuals and last year reported 320 billion won (US$294.4 million) in revenue last year. (provided by CJ Korea Express)
