Popular animation characters and flash mob members rooted for a successful 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics at the Character Winter World Festival on Seoul Plaza on the morning of Dec. 31. The event was organized to cheer on South Korean teams and show support for a successful 2018 Winter Olympics and Paralympics in Pyeongchang.
