[Photo] Hyundai’s Nexo hydrogen electric car can travel over 600 km on one five minute charge

At the “Nexo Media Experience Day” held at Goyang Hyundai Motor Studio in Gyeonggi Province on Feb. 5, Hyundai Motors announced that its Nexo hydrogen electric vehicle is able to travel 609 km, and takes just five minutes to fully charge. That distance is enough for a roundtrip from Seoul to Daegu. Hyundai Motors announced that sales of the vehicle will begin next month, with a price of about 40 million won (US$36,800) once government subsidies are included. The auto company’s goal is to sell a total 10,000 of the vehicles by 2022
