Hyundai Motor announced on Oct. 14 that it will sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with French industrial gas company Air Liquide and multinational energy firm ENGIE. The South Korean automaker agreed to expand the French market for hydrogen chargers and full cell electric vehicles (FCEVs). Air Liquide and ENGIE agreed to build the domestic infrastructure for recharging FCEVs, while Hyundai promised to supply 5,000 FCEVs in the form of sedans, buses, truck and even commercial vehicles. The above photo shows South Korean President Moon Jae-in at a charging station operated by Air Liquide in Paris on Oct. 14. (provided by the Blue House)
