[Photo] KT to provide 10Gbps broadband service for households

The South Korean telecommunications giant KT is set to launch its ultra-fast 10Gbps internet service starting in November. The service will be provided in Seoul and major cities throughout South Korea. The service will “enable UHD personal broadcasting and allow more people to enjoy virtual reality [VR] or augmented reality [AR]-based entertainment services,” the company announced in a press conference in Seoul on Oct. 31. High-speed data downloads and uploads also augments services based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud computing, the company added. (provided by KT)
