In a meeting with reporters on Nov. 8, Chairman Lee Dong-geol of the Korean Development Bank (KDB) proposed holding trilateral talks with GM Korea and its union to discuss the current deadlock in negotiations regarding the automaker’s corporate split. Lee also announced KDB’s plans to file a lawsuit against key GM executives for reparations. He added that if GM does not agree to hold talks, then KDB will have no choice but to suspect the company’s sincerity in normalizing its Korean operations. (Yonhap News)
