For the first time since 2016, South Koreans were able to observe a partial solar eclipse visible throughout the entire country on Dec. 6. The eclipse began at 8:35 am and reached its climax at 9:45 before concluding at 11:03. Although cloud cover made observation difficult at the eclipse’s start, visibility drastically improved at around 9 am. (Baek So-ah, staff photographer)
