[Photo] South Korea plans on promoting growth in AI, data sciences and hydrogen vehicles

The South Korean government has announced its plans to increase the number of hydrogen vehicles in the country to 80,000 by 2022. It also intends to proactively nurture the country’s AI industry to the scale of 30 trillion won (US$26.73 billion). Hosted by Minister of Economy and Finance and Deputy Prime Minister Hong Nam-ki, the government’s first Innovation Growth Strategy Meeting was held at R&CD Innovation Hub in Seoul on Jan. 16.
