As fine particle dust become a norm in everyday life among South Koreans, the prevalence of air conditioners with air filtration systems is rising. Air conditioners are no longer a summer appliance but something that people are starting to use year-round for their air filtration mechanisms. LG Electronics and Samsung Electronics released their 2019 lines of air conditioners. Both companies focused more on air filtration technology rather than cooling mechanisms.
