LG Electronics has announced its plan to cut carbon emissions from its production facilities in half by the year 2030. The South Korean electronics giant plans on achieving this through more efficient facilities and less greenhouse gas emissions. The company also announced its Clean Development Mechanism project, which involves investments in developing country toward cleaner energy, and its intention to continue acquiring UN-certified carbon credits.
