[Photo] Hyundai to invest in US self-driving startup Aurora

Hyundai Motor and its affiliate Kia Motors will be making a strategic investment in Aurora, a US self-driving startup led by a former Google employee. Aurora is intent on developing self-driving-car platforms that automakers can purchase and integrate into their own models. The partnership between Hyundai and Aurora began in January 2018 at the Consumer Electronics Show, and the two companies have been co-developing self-driving technology for the Hyundai’s hydrogen fuel-cell crossover Nexo.
