[Photo] Samsung acknowledges it was ill-prepared for Galaxy Fold release

In an interview with European reporters, Koh Dong-jin, president of IT and Mobile Communications at Samsung, acknowledge that Samsung rushed the launch of the Galaxy Fold, saying they pushed it through “before it was ready.” This was the first time Samsung officially took the fall for the launch debacle. The company’s first foldable smartphone was originally scheduled for a US launch in mid-April, but a new launch date has yet to be set. Industry observers predict Samsung will launch the Galaxy Fold along with the Galaxy Note 10 in early August.
