[Photo] Samsung posts US$53.18 billion in revenue for 3rd quarter

Samsung Electronics posted 62 trillion won (US$53.18 billion) in revenue and operating profits of 7.78 trillion won (US$6.67 billion) for the third quarter (July to September) of 2019. The company’s smartphone sector’s release of the Galaxy Note 10 help boost operating profits up to nearly 3 trillion won (US$2.57 billion). Although operating profits in semiconductors continued to decline, a recent spike in demand is expected to change that.
