Sixteen ethnic Korean children residing in China headed back on August 8 after a weeklong visit to Korea. They were invited by a company as a reward for winning a Korean language writing competition in China. They toured several attractions, including historic sites, and paid a visit to the Hankyoreh two days before going back home. There are an estimated 2 million Korean-Chinese, almost all of them residing in northeast China.
