Three brothers, all in their 20s, are set to receive a prize given by the Red Cross Korea for donating more than 50 units of blood. In total, they have donated 88.380㏄ of blood in 180 visits to donation centers. Foreigners residing in Korea for at least a year are eligible to donate blood, explained by a Red Cross Korea official as the latency period for some blood-borne illnesses endemic to other regions.
