Some 800 protesters from Korea, Japan, and Taiwan hold a candlelight vigil against the Yasukuni Shrine and Japanese prime minister Junichiro Koizumi’s repeated visits to it. The gathering was held at Meiji Park, Tokyo, on August 14.
