The story remains the same

The latest scandal is called "Sky Story," rather than "Sea Story," an arcade chain featuring illegal gambling games that was murkily approved by the government.

It’s called Sky Story because a certain someone just scored himself a full house of parachutes. "Parachute" often refers to someone who lands in a choice position without being qualified, merely because someone higher up holds him in favor and has the authority to appoint whomever he wants to.

President Roh Moo-hyun’s appointment of former environment minister Lee Jae-yong as the next head of the National Health Insurance Corporation is being called by many a "parachute appointment."
