North Korean zookeepers hold four puppies in their arms at a zoo in Pyongyang. They were born last June to a pair of Jindo dogs, named Peace and Unification, which South Korea’s then-President Kim Dae-jung had presented to North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-il at the June 2000 Inter-Korean Summit.
