Ceremic urns used for fermentation are lined up in a yard in so-called Doenjang Village in Jeongseon, Gangwon Province. They contain doenjang, a Korean traditional food made from fermented soybeans, among other ingredients. Delicious doenjang requires lengthy fermentation.
