Bitter harvest

A farmer who is participating in a rally for agricultural workers reads a handout demanding local branches of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation to raise the market price of rice. Gyeonggi Province branches cut the purchace price of rice by about 10,000 won to some 50,000 won per 40 kg, citing that their move was in accordance to market principles.
