Jane Goodall, world-renowned chimpanzee researcher and environmentalist, visited Korea beginning November 5, where she dined on Buddhist "temple food" in Seoul after addressing an audience of 500. The way of eating traditional, vegetarian temple food, a method called balu gongyang in Korean, is to leave one’s dish so clean that it need not be washed.
