The family of a South Korean man allegedly abducted by North Korea pays a visit to Imjingak, a place close to the line dividing the North from the South, on January 15, the 20-year anniversary of Choi Jong-seok’s disappearance during a fishing trip. The family has adorned the surrounding pines with 10,000 yellow hankerchiefs, symbolizing the promise that they will wait for their abducted relative’s return, explained Choi U-yeong, far right, the daughter of the alleged abductee.
