The Winter Olympics aren’t the only attraction that visitors to Pyeongchang can enjoy this year. The Baengnyong Cave, which was designated South Korean Natural Monument No. 260, is one of the most spectacular natural sites in Korea. The 1.8 km long cave has a stunning array of rock formations, and the average temperature of 13 degrees rarely varies regardless of the season. The cave can be reached by using a local bus from Pyeongchang and there is a 15,000 won entrance fee. The photo shows a guide illuminating the cave’s stalagmites and stalactites with a flashlight.
