[photo] Animals cool off on the longest day of the year

June 21 was the summer solstice, supposedly the longest day of the year. Temperatures rose accordingly with the extended amount of sunlight. The animals at Everland Resort’s Zootopia in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, found various ways to cool themselves off. A newborn giraffe takes a walk with its mother. South Korea’s last polar bear, Tongki, has a swim. Tongki is set to be moved to a zoo in Yorkshire, England, in November, where he’ll spend the rest of his days. An elephant and lion take refuge in shade, while a tiger goes for a dip.
