[Photo] Fisherman swing most buzzworthy golf moment of 2018

South Korean golfer Choi Ho-sung and his signature “fisherman swing” have been selected by Golf Digest for the top spot for its list of 10 most buzzworthy golf moments of 2018. Choi, who picked up golf relatively late in life at age 26 while working at a driving range, first caught the public’s attention during the 2018 Korean Open. He recently claimed achieved his second career Japan Golf Tour victory in November. It’s notable that on top of his unique swing, Choi lost one of his thumbs in an industrial accident as a teenager. The Augusta National Golf Club has indicated that it’s considering inviting Choi to its 2019 Masters tournament in April. (provided by the KGPA)
