South Korean actress Jeon Do-yeon shared her feelings and thoughts ahead of the release of “Birthday,” a filmed inspired by the tragic Sewol ferry sinking in 2014. Jeon plays a mother who loses her son in the tragedy, and the pain she and her family must undergo after their loss. “When I first read the script, I rejected the role out of fear. But at the same time, I thought, ‘This a film I simply can’t ignore.’ It’s not just a sad story.
