[Photo] BTS has over 20 million followers on Twitter

The sky is the limit for global K-pop phenomenon BTS. As of May 25, the group has over 20 million followers on Twitter, becoming the first Korean Twitter account to amass such a following. Just a few years ago, in 2013, the group posted that it hoped to reach 600 followers. In 2017, the group’s following shot up to 10 million, and skyrocketed to 20 million just a year and six months later. (Shin So-young, staff photographer)
