Earthenware pottery such as cups and models of houses and boats have been discovered at a site that was once a graveyard during the era of the Gaya confederacy (42-562; later annexed by the kingdom of Silla) in Haman County, South Gyeongsang Province. Researchers have been excavating the area since February, discovering a wealth of earthenware pottery during the process. In addition to the earthenware, various gilt bronze items such as battle armor, helmets, and swords were discovered.
