Gyeongbokgung Palace’s Geunjeongjeon Hall, the main throne hall of the Joseon Dynasty and designated National Treasure No. 223, is now available for the public to view. The hall had been restricted to public access due to preservation efforts, according to the Cultural Heritage Administration. The hall will be open on a trial basis from Aug. 22 to Sept. 21, every week from Wednesday to Saturday, twice a day. Each visit will be limited to 20 persons. To purchase tickets, visit the Gyeongbokgung Palace site (www.royalpalace.go.kr).
