South Korea First Lady Kim Jung-sook visited the Tam Thanh Mural Village on Nov. 10. The village, which was created in June 2016 is located about an hour south of Da Nang, contains over 100 murals by Vietnamese and South Korean artists. The idea was inspired by similar projects in South Korea, and was sponsored by the Korea Foundation (KF) to bolster artistic exchanges with Vietnam. The team was led by KF Art Director Lee Kang-joon and included Korean mural artists, university volunteers from both countries, and local residents of the village.
