On Nov. 13, two British brothers who were charged with trespassing and vandalism for tagging two subway cars had their four-month prison sentence upheld by the Seoul Eastern District Court, with Hon. Kim Kyung-ran presiding. According to the indictment, the brothers, aged 25 and 23, first tagged a car at the Gunja Railcar Depot in the Seongdong District of Seoul on July 11, and again the following day at the Sinae Railcar Depot. The pair wrote “SMTS” and “SMT” on the cars, which stands for “So Much Trouble” – an infamous graffiti crew formed in Manchester, U.K.
