French urban free-climber Alain Robert was scaling the walls of Lotte World Tower in Seoul’s Songpa District, which stands 123 stories tall (555m), when security officers interrupted his climb and forced him to abandon his ascent on June 6. Police arrested Robert afterwards for “obstruction of public duty.” "I climbed about 75 stories and then after that, it was a bit like cat and mouse," Robert said. "Finally, I decided to surrender." Robert ascended the building with his bare hands and without any ropes.
