[Photo] China proposes holding another trilateral summit in Beijing

The Japanese press has reported that China has proposed hosting a South Korea-China-Japan summit toward the end of this year. Kyodo News and The Yomiuri Shimbun reported on June 18 that Chinese officials proposed holding a Beijing summit among the leaders of South Korea, China and Japan sometime in December. If the proposal comes to fruition, it will be the first time the three countries hold a summit together twice in the same year.
