Five South Korean climbers, including record-breaking adventurer Kim Chang-ho (second from left), were killed along with four Nepali guides on Mount Gurja, in the Himalayas, on Oct. 12. In 2013, Kim set the record for being the fastest climber to reach the summits of the world’s 14 highest peaks without supplemental oxygen. The climbers were killed during a snowstorm that struck their base camp. (Kathmandu Post website)
