[Photo] Former Polish President to attend Pyeongchang Peace Forum

Former Polish President and Nobel Peace Prize recipient Lech Walesa is expected to attend the 2019 Pyeongchang Peace Forum, which will be held from Feb. 9 to 11. Co-hosted by 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Committee and the Gangwon Provincial Government, with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Unification, the forum will focus on peace on the Korean Peninsula. Walvesa received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1983 for his fight for freedom under Soviet rule. (provided by the Gangwon Provincial Government)
