The special South Korea-ASEAN summit is set to take place in Busan from Nov. 25 to 26. The city of Busan announced on Apr. 3 that it will push to construct an ASEAN “contents village” next to the ASEAN Culture House by 2022, and that it hopes the proposal will officially discussed during the summit in November. The special South Korea-ASEAN summit was first held in 2009 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the formation of diplomatic relations between South Korea and the Southeast Asian bloc in 1989. The ASEAN Culture House officially opened in September 2017 and is where the summit will take place this November. (provided by the city of Busan)
