The Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) have agreed to jointly develop a mission payload for a space shuttle. NASA is planning on having an astronaut land on the Moon in 2024. Starting in 2020, they aim to launch nine lunar landers to the moon surface to conduct research for the astronaut mission. The landers will be developed by private companies, while payloads are to be developed jointly with foreign partners under NASA supervision.
