A sightseeing boat carrying 33 South Korean tourists crashed into another boat while touring the Danube River in Budapest, Hungary, on May 29. Seven have been confirmed dead by the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs; while 19 remain missing. The boat was also carrying two Hungarian crew members. Only seven passengers have been successfully rescued thus far. Upon being reported on the accident, South Korean President Moon Jae-in issue an urgent order to cooperate with the Hungarian government on rescue operations. The Blue House has since sent an emergency rescue team to Budapest to aid in rescue missions.
