The US State Department has announced that US President Donald Trump will visit South Korea after the G20 Osaka Summit, which is scheduled to be held from June 28 to 29. During a press briefing on June 10, US State Department Spokesperson Morgan Ortagus said that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will accompany Trump in his meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during the Osaka summit, and will join the president during his visit to South Korea after the summit. Ortagus added that Trump and South Korean President Moon Jae-in are scheduled to discuss strengthening the South Korea-US alliance and the final, fully verified denuclearization (FFVD) of North Korea.
