A Hungarian fisherman has discovered the body of what is believed to be a South Korean woman who was aboard a river cruise ship when it tragically sank in the Danube River in Budapest on May 29. After the fisherman reported his discovery, the body was recovered around 30km from the site of the accident on June 22, 11 days after the ship’s hull was raised from the river. The South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on June 23 that a DNA test to confirm the woman’s identity was in progress. If the identity is confirmed, the number of victims yet to be recovered will be two.
