[Photo] Israeli president holds joint peace service at Yoido Full Gospel Church

Israeli President Reuven Rivlin attended a service for peace on the Korean Peninsula and in Israel at the Yoido Full Gospel Church on July 17. Over 6,000 people attended the service. It’s notable that Rivlin, who is Jewish, held a joint prayer service with the South Korean Protestant community. Rivlin, in his speech, noted that both South Korea and Israel managed to achieve democratization after overcoming a series of historical threats and hardships, inviting the South Koreans in attendance to visit Jerusalem for a peace pilgrimage.
