Members of the Parcel Delivery Workers' Solidarity Union have joined the nationwide boycott against Japan by announcing their refusal to deliver Uniqlo products. Uniqlo angered South Korean consumers when its CFO dismissed the nationwide boycott against Japanese products, saying it wouldn’t last long enough to affect long-term sales. Following a lackluster apology, South Korean delivery drivers are now uniting in opposition to the Japanese clothing brand. Members of the union gathered in front of the former Japanese embassy in Seoul on July 24 to protest Tokyo’s export controls and to announce their refusal to deliver Uniqlo products.
