[Photo] S. Koreans join in global “photo relay” of poses resembling comfort woman statue

Citizens and artists around the world continue to post photographs of themselves posing in the same manner as the famous comfort woman statute that was recently removed from the Aichi Triennale 2019. The work in question, “Statue of a Girl of Peace,” was removed from the exhibition just three days after it started. In South Korea, this movement has resulted in a “relay movement” of posts. The relay was started by Siheung city council member Ahn Sun-hee, who is pictured in the upper left photo.
