The bodies of two South Korean climbers were repatriated on Aug. 17. In August 2009, the two climbers, Min Jun-young and Park Jong-seong, embarked to climb the Annapurna massif in the Himalayas as part of the Jikji Expedition Team. They died due to an avalanche, but it was only recently that their remains were discovered due to the melting of glaciers. The photo shows the families of the two climbers carrying their remains during a memorial service in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, on Aug. 17. (provided by the city of Cheongju)
