Six Russian military aircraft violated South Korea’s air defense identification zone (KADIZ) on four occasions on Oct. 22. The South Korean Air Force dispatched its own fighter jets in response to deliver warnings. Russian aircraft have violated KADIZ on 20 occasions this year. According to the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), An A-50 aircraft, three SU-27 fighter jets, and two TU-95 bombers violated KADIZ four times between 9:23 am and 2:44 pm without any prior warning. They aircraft left around 3:13 pm.
