[Photo] Google Cloud predicts contributing US$46.6 bln to S. Korean GDP by 2023

Google Cloud projects that it will contribute 54 trillion won (US$46.56 billion) to South Korea’s GDP and create over 15,000 jobs within the next five years. In its Google Cloud Summit held in Seoul’s COEX Mall on Nov. 6, Google and Boston Consulting Group offered an in-depth analysis of Asia-Pacific region’s cloud computing industry. Google will be adding a cloud region in Seoul (its eighth region in Asia) in early 2020.
