Issues include further development, North-South economic promotion
The second round of working-level talks on further developing the joint North-South Kaesong Industrial Complex will start on schedule in Kaesong, North Korea, on June 20-21, the Unification Ministry said. This round of talks was agreed to during the 12th round of the South-North Economic Cooperation Promotion Committee meetings held on Jeju Island in South Korea earlier this month.
"Concerns over a test-fire of a missile have not affected the holding of the working-level talks," said an official at the ministry.
A three-member delegation from Seoul, led by Koh Kyung-bin, the head of the Kaesong Industrial District Managerial Support Association, and four representatives from Pyongyang, headed by Park Cheol-su, deputy chief of the North’s Special Economic Zone Development Agency, will participate in the talks.
