The nation’s biggest five-day market is moving to a new location in a parking lot in the Yeosu Public Housing area located in Seongnam City, Gyeonggi Province. Moran Market is relocating to a parking lot next to its current space in the Yeosu Public Housing area in Seongnam. The new space is 22575 square meters with 700 vendors, and will include a performance area, a rest area, light towers, and electronics displays. Five-day markets are held every five days on dates ending with “4” or “9” and were traditionally markets where Koreans would go to buy items such as fresh produce, seafood, clothes, and bedding.
