[Photo] Software company president found guilty of libeling President Moon on Wikipedia

The president of a software development company who posted false information about President Moon Jae-in and Seongnam Mayor Lee Jae-myung on Wikipedia in the lead-up to the presidential election was found guilty and ordered to pay a fine of 4 million won (US$3,684). In the trial at the Seoul High Court (Hon. Lee Sang-ju presiding), the man was found guilty of on the charges of violating election law and defamation of character. He had posted content listing Moon’s and Lee’s nationality as North Korean. (Wikipedia graphic)
